UK company Specialist Aviation Services (SAS) has signed a framework agreement with Leonardo Helicopters for six more AgustaWestland AW169s helicopters to expand the company’s support to the offshore wind industry.
SAS said the helicopters will be delivered between 2017 and 2019.
The deal will bring the total number of AW169 helicopters operated and maintained by SAS to 12.
It was signed at the Helitech International 2016 show in Amsterdam this week.
