Renewables manager Blue Tree Asset Management has hired Esther Garcia as head of asset management UK.
She will lead the company’s growth strategy in the UK, Blue Tree said.
Garcia (pictured) was previously senior asset manager at Lightsource Renewable Energy (United Kingdom) leading a 370MW portfolio.
Blue Tree plans to be managing 1GW in three years in Chile, France, Italy, Mexico, Spain, the UK, Uruguay and the US.
It currently manages a portfolio of more than 270MW of photovoltaic and wind power projects for its clients.
