CWind is to provide HV cable testing and commissioning for Senvion at WPD’s 111MW Nordergrunde wind farm in the German North Sea.
CWind will provide the testing and commissioning works at the 18 Senvion 6.2M126 turbines, which will be installed at the project site about 40 kilometres northwest of Bremerhaven.
CWind sales manager Germany Stefan Marschner said: “Our highly-skilled team of electrical engineers are looking forward to contributing to the efficient and safe installation of Senvion’s 6.2MW turbines.”
Nordergrunde project manager – commissioning offshore, Senvion Garvin Bracker said: “CWind put forward a convincing proposal that incorporated all the elements we required, their HV expertise and experience in supporting complex electrical works required on construction were key factors for us in order to guarantee the reliable and timely implementation of our projects “
