Marine services company Longitude Engineering has moved to a larger UK office and restructured its business to focus on structural engineering, drafting and naval architecture, following growth in the renewables market.
Longitude, which is a subsidiary of British marine engineering consultancy LOC Group, said new hires prompted it to open an office in Exeter with the capacity to seat about 30 personnel.
The company also has offices in the US, Mexico and Singapore.
“The office move coupled with a widening of our skill-sets has also enabled us to broaden our reach into related markets and to work more closely with developers and vessel owners,” Longitude UK managing director Andrew Butler said.
