Banks Group has been granted permission to build the 15-turbine Kype Muir 2 wind farm in Lanarkshire, Scotland.
Scottish ministers granted consent for the Section 36 project south of Strathaven, which will extend the consented 26-turbine first phase.
Tip heights are pegged at up to 152 metres and top power is likely to be at least 51MW.
The 88.4MW Kype Muir is due to be built under the Contracts for Difference regime and will go live in 2019 featuring Senvion 3.4MW hardware.
The County Durham developer applied to build Kype Muir 2 in October 2014.
