Cubico Sustainable Investments has acquired the 50MW Owls Hatch solar park in southern England from developer British Solar Renewables (BSR).
The photovoltaic plant in Herne Bay, Kent, has been operational since March 2015.
It will be maintained and operated by the UK developer, Cubico said without giving a deal value.
The solar park obtained £47.8m in project financing from German bank Nord/LB and Hastings’ managed funds.
Cubico has now bought 11 solar projects with a total 120MW from BSR over the last eight months.
“We are delighted to have worked with BSR again and to add one of the largest solar farms in the UK to our growing portfolio,” Cubico head of EMEA David Swindin said.
