Vestas has started the second test phase for its multi-rotor wind turbine demonstrator at the Riso laboratory site in Denmark.
The Danish manufacturer said it already has some results from initial structural tests and is now carrying out dynamic testing.
It expects to have the results of the latest tests during the autumn.
The multi-rotor demo will be fully tested sometime during 2017, Vestas said.
The turbine features four refurbished V29-225kW nacelles mounted on a support structure and was installed at the test site in the spring.
