US company Sunpreme has completed the deployment of 12.8MW of solar panels for a utility-scale project in the eastern US, as part of a cluster adding up to 15MW.
The deployment consists of the company’s bifacial double glass GxB370W panels, which it said have 21.5% cell efficiency, symmetrical architecture and have frameless construction that does not need grounding.
Sunpreme senior vice president responsible for global field operations Jim Birt said: “Delivering and installing such a large quantity of these panels, with associated hardware, on a rather tight timeline was a great shared challenge.
“We were able to execute with well documented logistics, installation and training procedures and on-site presence alongside our EPC partners.”
