Northumberland College is set to open a new training centre for renewable energy at the Port of Blyth in northeastern England.
The £1.2m Wind Hub and Renewable Energies Centre will have state-of-the-art workshops and the latest teaching technologies for the industry, according to the college.
The first cohort of students will start this year, it said.
Port of Blyth, a wind hub for the region, receives a large number of turbines from across Europe.
