Wind developer Futuren is poised to commission 31MW of combined project generation capacity in the coming months, as part of a 199MW authorized development pipeline in France and Morocco.
The Paris-based company said it expects to commission the 18MW Chemin Perré wind farm in northeast France between September and October.
The nearby 13.2MW Les Monts project, meanwhile, is scheduled to come online in January, it said.
The company has regulatory approval to install another 47MW of capacity in France, including through a potential expansion of the Les Monts project.
“Other construction works will be launched quickly in order to achieve our target to double our installed capacity in France and Morocco in the short term,” Futuren chief executive Fady Khallouf said.
Futuren also reported consolidated net income for the first half of 2016 of around €2.0 million, swinging from a €917,000 loss in the previous corresponding period. Revenue rose 5% to €31.3 million.
