The European Marine Energy Centre is seeking final applications from wave and tidal energy companies wanting a 50% discount on the cost of having their technology verified.
The EMEC said companies can get a discount of up to €10,000 on the cost of verification, excluding any testing costs.
Its offer closes on September 30, 2016.
The subsidy is available through the EU Environment Technology Verification, or ETV, pilot programme, designed to help developers reach the European Union and international markets.
“By independently verifying the specific performance claims of new technology, ETV can help companies provide confidence to technology purchasers and investors, increasing their credibility and visibility within the market,” EMEC said.
