Topaz Energy and Marine has extended by one year a contract with engineering group ABB for the supply of a specialized cable-lay vessel.
ABB has an option to extend the contract, first signed in 2010, by at least another 12 months, Topaz Energy and Marine said.
The vessel, Topaz Installer, will support work on wind farms in the North Sea.
Topaz Energy and Marine is a subsidiary of Oman-listed Renaissance Services.
