Cubico Sustainable Investments and Plenium Partners have acquired a 67MW wind farm in Valencia in Spain from Enerfin.
The project, which has been operational since 2009, is located in the municipality of Jarafuel and comprises 29 Enercon E-70 turbines.
Plenium Partners holds a minority stake in the project and will also act as asset manager.
Cubico said the acquisition brings its portfolio of renewable assets to 30 projects located in eight countries, with gross capacity of approximately 2GW.
Cubico head of EMEA David Swindin said: “This acquisition adds to our growing portfolio of renewable energy assets and marks our re-entry into the Spanish renewable market.”
