Sungrow is to supply photovoltaic inverters for 150MW of solar projects being developed by Mytrah Energy (India) in the Indian states of Telangana and Punjab.
The Chinese company will help with the design, engineering, manufacture and assembly of central inverters for the projects.
Mytrah Energy director Girish Gelli said: “High efficiency, ease of installation and maintenance design of Sungrow central inverters, in addition to their local technical support and global acceptance were some of the important aspects of why Sungrow was selected as the inverter supplier.”
Sungrow president Renxian Cao said: “This contract gives us enormous momentum for solar inverter business in India.”
