RWE’s 10MW Kattenberg-Reedijk wind farm located between Tilburg and Eindhoven in the Netherlands is fully operational.
The project consists of four Nordex N117 2.4MW turbines on 90-metre high steel towers, with 58-metre long fibre-reinforced plastic rotor blades.
RWE said construction of the wind farm started in September 2015, with turbine installation beginning in April this year.
A portion of the revenue from the wind farm’s generation will go to the local municipalities of Oisterwijk and Oirschot, the company said.
