Danish blade manufacturer LM Wind Power posted a profit of €26.2m in the first half of 2016, up from €3m in the same period last year.
Revenue increased to €491.3m from €351.6m, while EBITDA was up to €87.3m in the first six months of last year from €48.1m in 2015.
The company said the strong showing was down to higher volumes resulting from market growth and higher demand for the group’s products.
New plants in India and Brazil contributed to the increased revenue, which grew in double digits in all regions with Europe showing the highest growth rate, LM Wind said.
