SgurrEnergy has advised Japanese investor Sumitomo Corp on its acquisition of a 12.5% stake in the 336MW Galloper offshore wind farm in England.
The renewable energy consultancy said it provided technical advisory services for the deal, which is set to close this month.
The services included an assessment of the project’s permitting situation, contracting status and structure, construction timescales, capital and operating cost estimates and energy yield base case.
Cable laying operations for the 56-turbine project will start this month, SgurrEnergy said.
The wind farm is expected to start operating in 2018.
