GEV Group has launched a safety initiative to promote continuous assessment, monitoring and improvement of critical processes in the wind power sector.
The company said the bespoke initiative, called 1st4Safety, is its latest development following the opening of a US office and several tender wins
The initiative, which is certified in compliance with OHSAS 18001, will contribute to ensuring the GEV Group teams are engaged to take care of themselves, their colleagues and employees of fellow organisations, the company said.
It added that 1st4Safety will implemented across all four of the company’s subdivisions – GEV Wind Power, GEV Offshore, Oxifree UK and Subsea Masters.
To support the implementation of 1st4Saftey, Barry Yates has joined the team as GEV Group QHSE manager.
