US investor Cube Hydro Partners has acquired the 32.65MW Glen Park hydropower plant in New York state.
The run-of-river facility on the Black River near Watertown is expected to generate about 150,000 MWh of electricity per year, the company said without giving more details.
Cube Hydro, owned by infrastructure investor I Squared Capital, targets mid-sized hydro projects in the U.S. and Canada.
It currently manages 15 hydro plants in New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia with a combined 159MW and is in talks to buy four more facilities.
