Seacat Serices’s Freedom crew transfer vessel has been dispatched to Dong Energy’s 573MW Race Bank offshore wind farm off the Norfolk coast in the UK.
The company said the deployment comes as part of the two-year, four-workboat crew transfer deal secured by Seacat Services in April to support Dong’s operation off the UK’s east coast.
Seacat Freedom was built on the Isle of Wight, it added.
The company said that with the offshore wind construction market set to increase significantly through 2017, it expects demand for Seacat’s already fully chartered fleet to increase.
