An Axium Infrastructure-led consortium has secured a 50% stake in the 150MW Slate Creek wind farm in Kansas.
The Sumner County project was commissioned late last year by EDF Renewable Energy.
Under the terms, the consortium executed a purchase and sale agreement with the developer. The deals is subject “customary conditions precedent”, a statement said.
It is the third deal between Axium and EDF Renewable Energy.
“We are delighted to partner once again with EDF,” said Axium investment director Paulo Arencibia. “With this transaction, we continue to build our US wind portfolio, increasing diversification across wind resource regions, power markets and turbine technologies.”
Slate Creek consists of 75 Vestas 2MW turbines and is operated under a 20-year power purchase agreement with Kansas City Power & Light.
