Wind Works Power has achieved commercial operations at its 5MW Weiler III wind farm in Germany, its sixth project to come online this year.
The wind farm consists of two Nordex N117 wind turbines with an investment value of approximately $10m, the company said.
Wind Works added that it has sold a majority stake in the project to a municipal utility consortium. The company continues to hold a minority stake in the wind farm.
Wind Works chief executive Ingo Stuckmann said: “We are pleased that now six projects have achieved commercial operation this year alone.”
