Deutsche Windtechnik has achieved triple certification from DNV GL after an audit of its Edinburgh headquarters.
The turbine servicing and maintenance outfit said it completed a five-day quality management, health and safety and environmental management assessment in June.
DNV GL, which also examined the company’s work at two Scottish wind farm sites, will carry out similar audits every nine months, it added.
“We are one of the first wind industry service companies to fulfil the requirements of the new versions of the standards for both quality and environmental management,” said senior QHSE advisor Steven King.
“This assures market participants in the UK that their assets are safe in our hands with quality and environmental management at the core of our business operations.”
