EDF Energies Nouvelles has made changes to the composition of its executive committee in order to achieve the renewable energy aims of its CAP 2030 strategic plan.
In particular, the changes aim to boost international expansion and the company’s role in decentralised electricity generation.
Frédéric Belloy has been named executive vice-president, international (excluding North America), with a remit to lead the group’s international expansion.
EDF EN said it is particularly looking to expand in emerging markets, while also maximising the synergies between the 20 countries in which it already operates.
Nicolas Couderc becomes executive vice-President, France and distributed energies.
The company said he has been tasked with developing EDF EN’s onshore wind and solar photovoltaic activities in France, as well as its presence in distributed energies.
EDF EN chief executive officer Antoine Cahuzac said: “As we embark on a new phase in our development, I have decided to reorganise EDF Energies Nouvelles’ executive committee in order to better reflect the diversity of the group’s business segments and geographical presence and to continue EDF Energies Nouvelles’ development in France and beyond.”
