Damen Shiprepair Amsterdam has completed major modification works on A2Sea vessel Sea Installer, increasing its reaching capacity.
The company extended the main crane boom and related structural modifications such as a larger, 900-tonne winch.
The extension is relevant due to the trend to increase the size of offshore wind turbine components, it said.
Damen also executed various standard maintenance jobs such as painting, pipe renewal and thruster inspection on the 132-metre vessel.
