Philippines renewable energy company PetroWind Energy has appointed Singapore’s Modern Energy Management to provide operations and management support services to its 36MW Nabas wind farm.
The project in Aklan province consists of 18 Gamesa G90 2.0MW turbines and has been online since last year.
Modern Energy Management will carry out wind turbine and balance of plant inspections, train the PWEI operations and asset management team and provide energy yield optimisation services.
Modern Energy Management director Lars Lund said: “We have a strong track record of delivering positive results to investors of renewable energy projects, particularly in emerging markets.”
