Shoreline is offering balance of plant operations and maintenance modelling, including foundations, inter-array cabling and substations to subscribers of its Mainsys system.
The company said that the modelling allows a user to choose and place BoP components and failure, service and associated costs, as well as define interdependencies between wind turbines, inter array cables and substations.
The economical modelling capabilities include performance indicators, such as marine logistics cost, manning, spare parts and repair cost, and BoP cost, which can be broken down in cost per MW, MWh and actual cost per year and month, the company said.
It added that the system is supported by an input database with wind turbines, crew transfer vessels, service operation vessels, heavy lift vessels, cable laying vessels, helicopter and ports, and other relevant data.
Shoreline has also introduced a weather randomiser to include weather uncertainties into model simulations.
