Vestas is to manufacture and sell its V136 3.45MW turbine in China.
The Danish company said it is introducing its largest onshore turbine to the Chinese market in response to “global demand and Chinese customer interest”.
Vestas added that it will also offer Chinese customers more flexibility so that they can choose any combination of items to tailor a package to specific needs.
“In other words, whatever operation and maintenance strategies our customers are pursuing in China, we will be able to support them,” said Vestas Global Service Group senior vice president Christian Venderby.
