A new CWind crew transfer vessel has begun operations off the UK south coast.
CWind said the Typhoon aluminium catamaran (pictured) joined the fleet in mid-May and was operating near Kent on an unnamed offshore wind project.
It was purchased from manufacturer Aluminium Marine Consultants (AMC) as part of a contract award announced last year covering the construction of four crew transfer boats.
The vessel will be exhibited at the Seawork conference later this month in Southampton.
