Canadian Solar has closed £36.4m in project financing with BayernLB to refinance four UK solar power plants totalling 40.2MW.
The company said the financing facility is non-recourse project finance with a term of 17 years.
Canadian Solar chairman and chief executive officer Shawn Qu said: “We are delighted to complete this project financing facility with BayernLB.
“We look forward to continuing our partnership with BayernLB to support the sustainable growth of our global project business.”
