French wind outfit Vergnet is repositioning itself as a global renewable energy solutions provider.
The company will specialise in wind, solar and hybrid energy projects, saying the move reflects its “approach in developing renewable energy solutions for its customers”.
Vergnet added that as part of the repositioning it has signed several contracts offering solar and hybrid solutions, including in the Pacific islands and Mauritania.
Vergnet chief executive officer Jerome Douat said: “As a specialist in wind projects for many years, we recently broadened the range of renewable energy options we provide in order to offer the best solutions to our customers.”
