BVG Associates is to continue working with Scottish Enterprise (SE) and Highlands & Island Enterprise (HIE) to help companies make the most of the offshore wind sector.
The work is through the Offshore Wind Expert Support Framework, which was set up by SE and HIE to enable Scottish companies understand their potential role in offshore wind and to identify opportunities for business growth.
BVGA has worked since 2011 with many small and medium-sized companies through the framework.
The consultancy assesses what a company has to offer the offshore industry, identifies market opportunities for them and advises on the best way to approach the market.
SE has two events scheduled to launch the new phase of the programme in Aberdeen on 25 May and Glasgow on 7 June.
“It is important to us that Scottish suppliers do not miss the chance to build-up experience, skills and capacity in the offshore wind market,” said Alan Duncan from BVGA’s Scottish office.
“Ultimately, the purpose of our work is to maximise the economic benefit of this growing sector, helping create real, lasting jobs for Scotland,” he said.
