Enel Green Power has completed the 24MW Los Buenos Aires wind farm in central Chile.
The wind farm is located near Los Angeles in the Bio Bio region and required an investment of around $55m.
It was funded with Enel’s own resources and has a long-term power purchase agreement in place, the company said.
The wind farm is expected to generate more than 86GWh per year.
Enel’s Chilean unit operates more than 700MW of renewables in the country, 364MW of which is wind.
