Dutch offshore specialist IHC IQIP has been selected to provide piling and handling equipment at the 402MW Dudgeon offshore wind farm off the coast of England.
The Royal IHC company has been awarded the deal by Seaway Heavy Lifting which is tackling the installation of 67 turbine foundations and a substation jacket and topside at the project off the Norfolk coast.
IHC IQIP has delivered equipment including a 1,400 tonne upending tool for the job.
The first 10 monopiles have already been installed. The remaining foundations are expected to be in place by August.
