Blue Water is on the job at Energinet.dk’s transmission link for the 400MW Horns Rev 3 offshore wind farm in Denmark.
The company has provided transport and storage of three transformers to Esbjerg and will also be involved in loading of the units later this year.
Blue Water is the agent for the barges transporting the jacket and topside and is acting via an agency agreement with suppliers HSM Offshore and Hollandia.
“We have ensured accommodation of all HSM Offshore crew in one complex. This makes the crew transfer to and from the port a lot easier,” said Blue Water. “We will coordinate all port calls and fulfill any requirement HSM might have during the project.”
Energinet.dk is installing the substation around 55km off the coast of west Jutland.
