RWE Innogy has achieved first power from its 18.45MW Batsworthy Cross wind farm in North Devon.
All nine Senvion MM82 2.05MW turbines have been erected, with the first now connected to the grid.
The remaining eight turbines will follow one by one after that and RWE expects all turbines will be connected by early May.
An RWE spokesman said the Batsworthy Cross turbines will be commissioned, running and fully tested by the beginning of July.
