Suzlon Group is to supply 50 S97 2.1MW turbines for a 105MW wind farm in India to be developed by independent power producer Greenko Group.
The project will be located in Andhra Pradesh and will be progressively commissioned by January 2017.
Suzlon chief sales officer Ishwar Mangal said: “We are delighted to partner with Greenko.
“It is a clear indication of the traction in overseas IPPs’ engagement with sustainable renewable technologies like wind energy.”
