Senvion has been selected to supply 2.05MW turbines to RWE’s 26.65MW Bad a Cheo wind farm in the far north of Scotland.
The German manufacturer will deliver MM92 machines to the Contract for Difference winner, which is due online in 2019.
Bad a Cheo will feature 13 turbines at the project site in Caithness. Tip heights are set at 112 metres and construction kicks off in March 2017.
RWE held a supply day event last month in connection with the wind farm.
Bad a Cheo was consented on appeal in 2014.
