Golden Square Energy has commissioned the 40MW Andover solar project in Hampshire in the south west of England.
The developer, a joint venture between Ingenious Infrastructure and AGR Power, completed the array last month.
Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) was provided by Solarcentury. DNO Consulting as ICP contractor were responsible for connecting the plant to the grid for commissioning.
Bayern LB provided debt finance for the project.
AGR Power director Oliver Breidt said: “Despite the tight timelines and the high pressure to commission the asset before the end of March, our teams met the challenging programme. Solarcentury has done a fantastic job as our EPC.”
