Arise Windpower has bought out its project partners on the 150MW Kölvallen wind farm in Sweden.
The Swedish developer said today that it has entered into a SEK20m deal to acquire all of the project’s shares from Ownpower Projects Europe (OPP).
The wind farm in the Ljusdals municipality is expected to feature up to 50 turbines once full environmental and planning sign off is granted later this year.
“We look forward to being able to offer an attractive project to investors in renewable energy. We are also happy with our long-standing partnership with OPP, which provided us with this opportunity,” said Arise chief executive Daniel Johansson.
