Swedish tidal outfit Minesto is ramping up commercialisation of its Deep Green technology with board member Stefan Karlsson extending his role to include business development.
The company said today that Karlsson will focus on international business development to examine opportunities to deploy the tidal kite around the world.
Minesto chief executive Martin Edlund said: “We are very pleased to have Stefan on our trip, both as a director and now also in a more operational role.
“We are facing an important phase with the commercialisation of our technology Deep Green. There we will benefit greatly from Stefan’s experience in building businesses in renewable energy, as well as his intercultural expertise and experience to handle complex business situations in an international industrial context.”
