LM Wind Power returned to the black in 2015 for the first time since 2009, posting a profit of €6m up from a loss of €9m the previous year.
Revenues were up 28% last year at €750m, compared with €588m in 2014, the company said in its annual report.
LM Wind Power chief executive officer Marc de Jong (pictured) said that 2015 will prove to be a “turning point” for the company.
He highlighted not the only the return to profitability but also innovations, such as progress on longer and lighter turbine blades and new approaches to manufacturing.
The company also introduced new technologies to increase production, reduce noise and improve reliability, he said.
