Muirhall Energy and WWS Renewables have commissioned the 8.25MW Muirhall South wind farm in Scotland.
Muirhall South, which is the third phase of the Muirhall project, consists of three GE 2.75MW turbines.
The companies said the turbines have 120-metre rotors.
The project was granted consent on appeal by the Scottish Government in July 2015, and qualifies for the Renewables Obligation
Muirhall Energy managing director Chris Walker said: “We are very pleased to have delivered these three turbines in such an exceptionally short period of time, with turbine supply agreements with GE reached in two-and-a-half weeks.
“A smooth financial close process with Close Brothers assisted an early construction, enabling Muirhall Energy to have the turbines bought and erected in six months.”
Phase two of the project, which consists of two Senvion 3.2MW machines, was completed in March 2014.
