C-bed’s Wind Solution vessel has kicked off a maintenance assignment at the 288MW DanTysk offshore wind farm in the German North Sea.
The accommodation vessel has re-entered service after a 2015 refit which added 20 cabins. Wind Solution now has 100 cabins.
The vessel will also offer storage and workshop facilities to up to 100 service technicians during the assignment.
Vattenfall’s DanTysk features 80 Siemens SWT-3.6-120 machines and produced first power in December 2014. It entered full commercial operation in April last year.
The wind farm is located 90km from the Port of Esbjerg in Denmark which is Wind Solution’s base port during the charter.
