Nordex is to supply Finnish asset management company Taaleri with 13 N131/3000 turbines for the 39MW Kivivaara wind farm in north-east Finland.
The contract, which is the third in a 216MW framework agreement, will see Nordex deliver the turbines in the late summer. It also includes a 15-year premium service contract.
All 13 units will be treated with an anti-icing system to prevent ice formation on the rotor blades.
Taaleri has already ordered 30 turbines totalling 90MW out of the 216MW framework contract.
Three more projects have been agreed and are planned for installation by the end of 2017 at the latest.
