Siemens has serviced a record number of wind turbines at its Stourton factory in Leeds.
The German company said the use of digital factory expertise and a dedicated team at the service centre were the reason for the record numbers.
Siemens wind service business manager Gary Husband said: “By using lean techniques and establishing best practices at Leeds, we have increased the number of units we can assemble and service for customers.
“Our faster turnarounds are bringing huge benefits for those customers operating wind turbines.”
