Natural Power has named Neil Douglas as its new director of levelised cost of energy.
The consultancy outfit said the newly created position would underpin its commitment to support renewable developers achieve cost parity.
The role has been created in response to market dynamics and the need to develop operational efficiency and competitiveness, Natural Power said.
Doulgas said: “Since 2014 Natural Power has been assessing and planning for the market changes in respect of driving the optimisation of renewables and infrastructure projects and the effective control of costs through the project life-cycle.
“This new role is to ensure that we can deliver services in a rapidly evolving international market for renewables and infrastructure.”
He added: “We will continue to innovate and help support and advise our clients with the LCoE backdrop of ensuring that low carbon energy technologies can compete in the wider energy market.”
