Fred Olsen Windcarrier has been awarded a contract by Siemens to provide transport and installation services at EnBW’s 497MW Hohe See wind farm in the German North Sea.
Installation of the 7MW turbines is scheduled to start in the first half of 2019.
Fred Olsen Windcarrier commercial manager Martin Degen said: “This new contract will continue to reinforce our prime position in the German North Sea and strengthen out relationship with Siemens.”
Fred Olsen Windcarrier has worked with Siemens in the German North Sea on the Riffgat and Butendiek wind farms and will also install the Veja Mate wind farm next year.
