Ballast Nedam has sold four offshore wind inspection and maintenance contracts to the Dutch subsidiary of Deutsche Windtechnik.
The deal involves contracts for the 288MW Butendiek offshore wind farm in the German North Sea, as well as the 129MW Eneco Luchterduinen, 120MW Princess Amalia wind farm and 144MW Westermeerwind projects off the coast of the Netherlands.
It also includes the transfer of two staff members and was effective from the start of the year.
Ballast Nedam said the sale follows a strategic decision to focus on housing and mobility.
In November 2014, Ballast Nedam Offshore sold its assets to compatriot contractor Van Oord, including the dedicated EPCI staff, heavy lift installation vessel Svanen (pictured) and the Westermeerwind project.
