Partnerships for Renewables has filed to build the 68MW Heathland wind farm near Forth in central Scotland.
The developer is seeking permission from Scottish ministers to build 20 3.4MW turbines of up to 132 metres each.
The project footprint was reduced during consultation by five turbines and the distance to local settlements increased.
Heathland is close to a number of operational wind farms including ScottishPower’s three-phase Black Law (pictured), which remains under construction.
South Lanarkshire and West Lothian councils will both be consultees on the Heathland application.
